Substitute Teacher — Bethel Highlands Preschool
Bethel Highlands Preschool is seeking caring and dependable Substitute Teachers to join our team. This position provides classroom coverage when regular staff members are absent, supports daily routines and learning activities, and helps maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years old.
Meet applicable Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) requirements for substitutes, including background check eligibility, required training, and staff paperwork.
Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Be able to actively supervise and engage with young children.
Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and follow preschool policies and procedures.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is reliable and adaptable, and brings a warm, positive attitude to the classroom. Experience in early childhood education or working with children is preferred. We will help interested applicants understand the required training and next steps.

2026-2027 Before and/or After Care Assistant Teacher
We are looking for a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Before and After Care program. This position helps create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children outside of regular preschool hours. Responsibilities include supervising play, assisting with activities, supporting daily routines, and working collaboratively with the lead teacher and staff.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is flexible and reliable, and brings positive energy to the start and end of each school day.
